Sunfly spend nearly their entire lives on a single flower, only ever leaving this plant if they are attacked. Their slow metabolism allows them to live subsisting only on the nectar of the flower.

Its colorfully patterned wings are its most prominent feature. Sunfly try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution.
