When one of Sunduo's heads starts does something stupid, the other will peck its leaves in gentle warning. Since Sunduo overall isn't very bright, this makes it seem like it's constantly preening.
Even while eating or sleeping, one of the heads remains always vigilant for any sign of danger. Sunduo try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution.
