When Suneon swims underwater, its petals are pushed backward, sealing around its shoulders. This covers the dip of its neck, functionally making Suneon more fusiform and aerodynamic.
Suneon underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater. Suneon try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution.
