Despite their size, Swampkip are incredibly strong. When they sense an approaching storm, they use their heads to push boulders, creating barriers to protect their dens from flooding.
On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving. If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders.
