Syllery shoots out large globs of ink that will, on contact, cause those struck to feel calm and placid. The ink shot can be either blue or pink, depending on the species, with no other apparent distinction in properties.
It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow. It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights.
