When flapped at high speeds, Talonfree's wings release a burning pollen made of tiny embers. It preys on small insects and birds by pinning them with its talons and cooking them with the heat from its wings.

It has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers. In the fever of an exciting battle, it showers embers from the gaps between its feathers and takes to the air.
