Tentalord hunt by pulling prey into their large mouths, commonly eating schools of Magikarp. When distressed, the orbs in their head glow brightly as they thrash around, shooting out ultrasonic waves strong enough to create waves.
It breathes through nostrils that it raises above the sea. It lives in complex rock formations on the ocean floor and traps prey using its 80 tentacles.
