Torchpie is a common target for bird Pokémon due to its bright color palette. When attacked, Torchpie will spit fireballs at the predator using its internal fire, then flee.
Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
