Torchling are common sights near farms and ranches, chirping at the crack of dawn to signal a new day to all. If an attack is ever made upon them or near them, they frantically flap their wings and aimlessly spit small fireballs around them.

Under the watchful eyes of their parents, Torchling hop around and explore the areas surrounding its ground nest while their wings develop. When Torchling stray too far from the nest, they will cheep out calls to their parents for help.

These friendly Pokémon send signals to one another with beautiful chirps and tail-feather movements. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
