The feathers on Torchuna's head are covered in a sticky substance that helps it cling to tree branches as it awaits evolution. When attacked, Torchuna spits fireballs at the attacker. If touched, the poison on its shell will harm its foe.
It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
