Using the feathers on its head as sails, Torchskit glides across ponds and puddles, cheeping happily as it goes along. When groups of these Pokémon gather, they enjoy raising their feathers higher and racing for fun.

They gather on puddles after evening downpours, gliding across the surface of water as if sliding. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
