Torchsaur enjoys its days sunbathing, taking in nutrients it needs to keep the plant on its back healthy. When Torchsaur is startled, an eruptions of blazing hot spores are released from the flower's stem in self-defense.

Torchsaur's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
