When Torpie detects a threat, it releases a thick smoke from its tail and vanishes into it without a trace. It feeds primarily on Berries found at the base of trees in the forests it inhabits.

Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation. It battles using energy it gets from burning coal.
