Small Pokémon often perch atop Torpass's tree, as it can always find water and food with ease; it also rarely gets lost, so many refer to it to know where to go. Due to its magnetic field, pieces of metal often get stuck to it and within its tree.

Its body emits a powerful magnetism. Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests.
