Despite their thin chitinous shells, Traprunt are great pack hunters. Their numerical advantage and powerful jaws allow them to tackle prey far larger than themselves. Between hunts, they retreat into the shade of tall grass to escape the midday sun.

Its immense jaws have enough destructive force that it can chew up an automobile. Its big jaws crunch through boulders.
