Treekip make their dens near trees in marshes and swamps, where the mud is rich and plentiful. Though they can climb the trees rather well, they typically shoot down the fruits above with jets of water.

On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving. It makes its nest in a giant tree in the forest.
