Turtump are diurnal, spending all their time basking in sunlight while keeping their sprout watered. At night, they sit motionless on the ground, often being mistaken for potted plants in the middle of empty fields.

These Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died in the forest. Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water.
