Tymander enjoys stomping around acting like an intimidating presence, but it is comically cowardly. This is especially true when it is near water, as Tymander will refuse treats or petting if there is a chance it gets wet.
The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. Its immense jaws have enough destructive force that it can chew up an automobile.
