Venotres's flames are constantly burning off tiny yet rapidly-growing hairs on its wings. The ashes that are left behind from each flap cause extreme burning and irritation to the eyes of those unfortunate enough to come into contact with them.

Venotres is a legendary bird Pokémon that can control fire. Its coat of thin, stiff hair that covers its entire body is said to have evolved for protection.
