Although Venuligatr move quicker quadrupedally, they spend much of their lives on their hind legs to better intimidate others. When they rest, they lie in tepid waters or in a damp spot where they can absorb plenty of sunlight.

It opens its huge mouth to intimidate enemies. Venuligatr's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
