Venutu's huge flower weighs heavily on its tiny body, limiting its mobility. To compensate, it propels itself short distances by using powerful vines that extend from within its flower.
It runs up short trees that grow on the savanna to peck at new shoots. Venutu's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
