Venuder uses vines to anchor itself in the light-seeking currents. Sometimes, Venuder absorbs so much sunlight that the sand in its mouth melts, producing a nested structure of crystals and pearls.

At night, it burrows a hole in the seafloor with its broad tongue to make a place to sleep. Venuder's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
