This docile Pokémon does not wander far from the cave it has made its den within and only comes out when sunlight is present; it cannot be tricked with artificial lights. If anything touches its spotted petals, it viciously lashes out.

Usually docile, a Venubuffet strikes back ferociously if its black tail is attacked. Venubuffet's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
