Because Vilesire are rather lazy, the large flowers on their heads are often mistaken for normal flowers that bug and bird Pokémon try to feed on. When they or their flowers are assailed, Vilesire release plumes of toxic pollen and run away.

A Vilesire hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in. In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a Vilesire turns yellow with the powder as it walks.
