Many poachers have tried to hunt Walras for its thick fur and tusks. However, due to the incredibly cold climate Walras lives in requiring special equipment to travel through, it is deemed nearly impossible.
People have driven Walras almost to the point of extinction. To protect its herd, the leader battles anything that invades its territory, even at the cost of its life.
