Zigscoon communicates with others via vibrating the fine layer of fur over its cocooned body. The vibrations zigzag in different ways depending on the message it intends to send to its kin.

To avoid detection by its enemies, it hides motionlessly beneath large leaves and in the gaps of branches. Rubbing its nose against the ground, it always wanders about back and forth in search of something.
