Zoroeon scares schools of fish by casting illusions to make itself appear to be a much larger, fearsome Pokémon. As the school scatters, Zoroeon takes advantage of the confusion to pick off a few stragglers for its meal.

Zoroeon underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater. Each has the ability to fool a large group of people simultaneously.
