Zokern's ability to cast illusions depends on how much sunlight the stalk on its head has gathered. It rests and photosynthesizes during the day so that it can prank others with its illusions during the evening.
Zokern try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution. To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon.
