Arcvoir are incredibly loyal to their Trainers and wield their immense, otherworldly power to protect them. They use this power to defy gravity and will use that same concept to create a black hole as a last resort to protect their Trainers.
It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power. It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms.
