Slowclops's ghastly abilities are held in check while it slumbers, but its powers fully activate when it finally wakes up. Normally, Slowclops can always be heard snoring softly. If this Pokémon ever stops snoring, it's a sign that it will soon awaken.

Scepxew climbs up to tree canopies every week to find the sharpest leaves it can hold in its mouth, which it uses to hunt weaker prey. Scepxew is also known to use its bulky tail to defend itself from predators while fleeing.

The tree on Torkoal's back grows until it is too heavy for it to move, then it uses the flames from within its shell to burn down the tree. This process is also how Torkoal nourishes itself. It sometimes unintentionally starts forest fires.

A subspecies of Torkoal. The intense heat within its body is not well ventilated, burning away the chlorophyll in the leaves of the tree upon its back. This gives them a distinctive orange coloring and prevents their tree from growing too large.

Giratu are said to live in a realm between our world and the next. When one is seen in this world, some claim it to be a warning of a great calamity. Interestingly, sightings have become increasingly common in the decades since its discovery.

Shelrill are known to inhabit mountainous regions. If approached, they retract into their shells to flee by rolling down slopes. In hopes of one day taking flight, they spend years journeying to become strong enough to scale even the highest peaks.

The flames Regilure produces are silent and freezing cold. As a result, they do not cause its icy body to melt. It vanishes if anyone comes too close.

Torbink is a docile, yet powerful Pokémon capable of producing vast heat waves up to 650° Celsius. They store energy by submerging their rocky bodies in lava, then expel it through their gemstones as gleaming light that is said to cure any illness.
