Maroark live in dry, arid habitats. Their numbers have recently dwindled, causing sightings to become rare. Old rural legends claim Maroark raid farms to devour Miltank and other domestic Pokémon, though these stories remain unproven.
Furwile are very friendly, although their tail ends up devouring anything that comes near. To prevent this, Furwile finds strong blades of grass, reeds, or handkerchiefs to tie it shut. The style of the bow differs in each individual.
