Digth often causes trouble near caves, biting or scratching hikers who approach its burrow. Most people avoid it, but treasure hunters sometimes follow it, hoping to claim the gold coin embedded in its head.

Magnesly can get weak if its body contains too much water, so it rubs its magnets together to create heat that evaporates any water on its body. Should it decide not to, however, the magnets might rust, and Magnesly could become injured.

Magnemoth is often seen at night flying towards streetlights. However, once it reaches the light, its magnetic field causes the light to turn off immediately. Afterwards Magnemoth flies towards another light source.
