Cateretta are peaceful members of forest ecosystems. They sing warnings and other messages across the forest to protect other small, more vulnerable Pokémon. When it comes time to evolve, they will weave their hair into a cocoon around themselves.

Evolution has rendered Metapod largely immobile, causing it to be incredibly vulnerable to predation from other Pokémon. To survive, Metapod will all huddle in caves mostly underwater, where they are largely inaccessible.

Kakto gather in large groups on ocean shoals to protect each other from the tides and predators. They will huddle in these patterns for up to six months waiting to evolve, at which point they will emerge from the sea and seek vast amounts of food.

Kabusola was originally believed to be an ancient ancestor of Corsola dating back 300 million years. However, recent re-evaluation suggests that Kabusola was a parasitic species that would live inside shells constructed from discarded Corsola shells.

Murtrike are commonly seen roosting near power lines on open roads. They use man-made structures as open hunting grounds to catch exposed prey. Travelers consider them to be a sign of good fortune.

Magto's magma body can fully retreat into its stony shell for protection. It also does so to avoid harming its surroundings.

Blagross has used its four brains to master every form of martial arts across the world. The full range of rotation on each of its limbs allows Blagross to use both punch and kick techniques freely.

Shroomlos will congregate around old wooden shipwrecks, feeding on the decaying wood. As ships are less likely to sink in modern times and contain less wood, this Pokémon is starting to struggle to find natural habitats.

Garbgalge will claim floating mounds of ocean trash as their home, spitting noxious poison at anything that approaches their domain. They will try to bridge their island with another Garbgalge's island to build a nest.

Necroto fossils are often found in fragments of stone from a realm unseen, and are said to drink in light from all around them. The revived Pokémon transform into Necroto when exposed to the stones they were once buried within.

Luvmo-o expresses its desires for friendship by smacking its Heart Scales. Observing Luvmo-o has caused some cultures to make musical instruments out of Heart Scales, the music of which are said to promote love and companionship.

Luvmo-o continually sheds Heart Scales as it grows, making it popular among collectors and certain traditional merchants. A Luvmo-o's first shedding is considered especially valuable due to their delicate construction.

Poochroc are very popular family pets, as they have a strong sense of loyalty to their trainers and their families. However, if they are not trained from a young age they can develop a very strong defiant streak that is hard to train out.

Whismtata are cowardly cave-dwellers, forming large packs to try and fend off larger Pokémon. Whismtata combine their cries in these packs to be exponentially louder than they are alone. However, once isolated, they are incredibly timid.

Electmite generate electricity by rubbing their magnets on their fur. The electricity generated in this manner is very weak, so it often lingers around electrical infrastructure for additional charge.

Nubat are fundamentally lazy Pokémon who primarily travel by riding hot air currents in volcanic cave systems. Despite being capable of producing flames, they will often produce little more than a cloud of boiling steam to deter enemies.

Crawyama are territorial, thuggish Pokémon that bully others for food and space. If two Crawyama meet, they will duel mercilessly with their claws, only stopping when one of their shells cracks under the brutal assault.

Gravewoodo will disguise themselves as cave walls for protection. This has caused Gravewoodo to develop a reputation among trainers as a nuisance Pokémon, as they will often block essential pathways.
