Cactcolo are often found frozen mid-step. However, when it feels the rhythm of rain upon its body, it bursts into festive dance, shaking itself to create a sandy rattling noise. This continues until the rain ends and it sleeps once more.

Every few summers, the population of Pacross surges with swarms taking over forests. This event is met with hordes of bug catchers and mushroom enthusiasts. Some areas have started contests for finding the largest mushrooms on Pacross.

Paeon are found in tropical and temperate forests, though they often go unnoticed by camouflaging themselves among dead leaves on the ground. Stepping on a disguised Paeon's back will result in a cloud of spores launching into the air.

Parua use their abilities to disguise their mushrooms as Berries. This tricks other Pokémon into eating the mushrooms, helping spread its spores. Mushrooms quickly regrow on Parua's body to replace the loss.

Palass's mushrooms are highly valued in the dining industry, described by connoisseurs as having the taste of winter itself. Obtaining these mushrooms is difficult, as Palass enjoy tricking mushroom hunters with their illusions.

A sleeping Pageist might be mistaken for a rotting pumpkin. They like to hide in pumpkin patches and surprise farmers that come to throw them away.

Rather than absorbing nutrients, Papig's mushrooms extract psychic energy from its body in order to grow. The mushrooms are also able to use this energy to issue psychic commands to Pokémon near Papig.
