Their keen eyesight enables them to shoot down other Flying-type Pokémon as they fly past. The heavy weight of their shell quickly tires out their small wings, so they float on the surface of lakes to rest.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate.
