Bulbaura live in cold regions away from the many predators in warmer climates. As sunlight is weaker in these regions, Bulbaura can absorb faint light found at dawn and dusk.
This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years. Bulbaura can be seen napping in bright sunlight.
