Charile buries itself in hot desert sand, with only the flame on its tail above the surface. They use the light and warmth it produces to lure in prey at night, then leap out to attack with their bite.

It moves along below the sand's surface, except for its nose and eyes. A Charile flies about in search of strong opponents.
