While rolling, Charpede tucks in its wings and tail. It cannot fly well, but if it rolls down a hill and then off a ramp, it can glide for long distances, using its tail to create warm air it can rise on.
It is usually motionless, but when attacked, it rotates at high speed and then crashes into its opponent. A Charpede flies about in search of strong opponents.
