Dhelbone is connected to a giant anchor via seaweed tendrils that act in accordance to its will. This lets it almost effortlessly wield the massive metal object as a devastatingly powerful combat tool.

Despite how small Dhelbone appears, it lugs around a metal anchor with ease. It lives within a shipwreck and defends its territory by swinging its anchor around. If anything is stolen from the shipwreck, it cries for days.

It pines for the mother it will never see again. The soul of seaweed adrift in the waves became reborn as this Pokémon.
