Drowag waddle along the shores of lakes at night, searching for Pokémon sleeping in their nests. When they find a sleeping Pokémon, they use their short trunk to siphon away the Pokémon's dream, croaking happily to themselves as they do.

It is possible to see this Pokémon's spiral innards right through its thin skin. If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that a Drowag is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils.
