Dundle burrow through the undergrowth in forests and are rarely seen above ground. They can dig both forward and backward thanks to their twin drills and they play an important role in mixing nutrients in the soil with their tunnels.
A Dundle has an extremely acute sense of smell. Its drill-tipped tail is used to burrow into the ground backwards.
