Usually, the gel surrounding Duotar is firm, but it can alter the gel's consistency to make its body malleable. This allows Duotar to slip through tight crevices in its mountainous habitat.

A Duotar creates a gas inside its body that it ejects under compression to propel itself like a jet. When their brains, now divided in two, are thinking the same thoughts, these Pokémon exhibit their maximum power.
