Duscscoon is much lighter than it looks because its cocoon is almost completely hollow. Inside, only a ball of shadowy flame rages, ripe to eventually transform into something new and terrible.

To avoid detection by its enemies, it hides motionlessly beneath large leaves and in the gaps of branches. It is thought that its body is hollow with only a spectral ball of fire burning inside.
