Using their psychic powers, Gardeflame can largely ignore gravity and achieve great speeds. They will use these same powers to lift their friends and Trainers into the air to fly alongside them.
In the fever of an exciting battle, it showers embers from the gaps between its feathers and takes to the air. It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power.
