While naturally clumsy, Gardechic uses its psychic energy to support itself and prevent falling. If Gardechic's trainer is in danger, this Pokémon will expend all of its internal fire in one massive fireball to protect them.
If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach. It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power.
