Through osmosis, Gastrovoir can take in large quantities of water while increasing its weight. This allows Gastrovoir to travel across land for longer periods without drying out.

Gastrovoir are known to be restless and easily excited, usually seen playing around in rivers. They're well known for their emotional intelligence as well.

It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power. It has a pliable body without any bones.
