As Goursect wanders through forests searching for exposed roots to feed on, a sound like an eerie lullaby echoes out from the hollow, glowing interior of the gourd on its back. It is said to hold the spirits of all the trees Goursect consumes.

Goursect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon.
