The inside of Hounaw's mouth is perpetually burning hot. Bites from it are excruciating: besides its bite force, sharp teeth and refusal to let go, the heat of its mouth leaves scalding burns around the bite wound.

Once its jaws clamp down on its foe, it will absolutely not let go. In a Hounaw pack, the one with its horns raked sharply back serves a leadership role.
