Sitting on the ocean floor, Hunsect remains as still as possible for much of its time. It waits for things to swim close, whereupon seaweed-like tendrils launch from the dome on its back to ensnare its prey.
Hunsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. To withstand the crushing water pressure deep under the sea, its spine is very thick and sturdy.
