Kabubre hides itself at the bottom of ponds during the day. At night, it will raise the eyes atop its rocky head above the surface to watch for prey approaching the water to drink, then leap out to seize it in its arms.

In the evening, it takes great delight in popping out of rivers and startling people. It is a Pokémon that has been regenerated from a fossil.
